VICTOR AQUINO (Victor Aquino Gomes Correa, born as Tupã Gomes Corrêa), 72 y.o., is a former Brazilian adman. Prior to 1987, working as author, director or film assembler in advertising campaigns he served clients, mainly in the music market, between Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia. PhD in Science, he also built a solid academic career at the Art and Communication School of the University of Sao Paulo, whose institution he served one term as dean from 1997 to 2001. Still active, he teaches about Aesthetics in Advertising, and Advertising as Literary Genre, subjects to which he wrote dozens of materials. From 1989 to 1990, he completed a post-doctoral research at the old "Laboratoire d'Esthétique et Sciences de l'Art at the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne", with late professor François Molnar. In those years he also began a research project with Abraham Antoine Moles in Strasbourg, about Cités Cablés, which was descontinued in 1992, when professor Moles passed away. Invited to Graduate Program of Audiovisual Communication at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, in 1998, he teached about Advert Films in Brazil and Argentina. Invited to the United States Government Visitor Program, in 1999, he saw the incipient distance learning projects, that were yet beginning in several American institutions. He has already advised 45 masters degrees and 24 doctorate projects. Besides to be author over one hundred books, like essays, biographies, poetry, tales, novel and theatre, he is finishing "Unwilling for Leaving", about his life among university and advertising. In 2015 Victor Aquino was celebreted by some Brazilian, American, French, Italian and Spanish fellows in the book "Among Science and Fiction". In 2016 he received from the City Council of Sao Paulo the honorary title of Cidadao Paulistano (Citizen of the City of Sao Paulo).
